In order to be a distinguished writer, you must go away from what you think others want to hear,and find your own voice. Until you do that, no matter how hard you try, the writing will still not fit together. The essence of journalism as well as simple fiction relies on your powers to fit an invisible puzzle together. Remember this, first you have to make the puzzle out of what you believe in, and then you must put all of the pieces together, based on what you have just formed.That in itself is ultimately the essence of self expression.
